LaserPricer alternative? Atelier Pilot vs LaserPricer for laser pricing
LaserPricer.com is a web calculator that turns your LightBurn time estimate and production costs into a recommended price. Its basic calculator works in the browser without an account or payment (as of 19 October 2026). Atelier Pilot is a paid Excel workbook that does a similar job from your own costs. The two use the same core idea, a price worked out from a target margin after fees, so if you are weighing up a LaserPricer alternative, the choice is mostly about format and extras. Information on LaserPricer comes from its public page, checked on 19 October 2026.

When LaserPricer is the better choice
- You price from LightBurn estimates and want a clean web tool you can use without paying for basic quotes.
- You like seeing the formula audit and the quantity table on one screen.
When Atelier Pilot is the better choice
- You want a file on your own computer that works without a website.
- You need a fixed fee per order, sales tax or VAT, and a Planned-vs-Actual record in the same place.
- You also quote CNC work, where "items per sheet" does not fit.
Our honest take
For a single laser item priced from LightBurn time, LaserPricer's calculator already does the essential maths well. Atelier Pilot is worth it if you want to own the file, track actual results against your quotes, and include tax and fixed fees.
